Otvoren je poziv na sudjelovanje u rezidencijalnom programu za plesače i performere iz Istočne, Centralne i Jugoistočne Europe. Rok za prijavu je do 20. listopada 2003. godine.
concern: artists-in-residence from Eastern/Central/Southeastern Europe April/May 2004, autumn 2004 at Tanzquartier Wien Please send your application including a letter of recommendation or recommend up to max. four artists (choreographers/performers) deadline for sending video material of current work and dossier until October 20, 2003 selection November 2003 a cooperation of KulturKontakt Austria and Tanzquartier Wien The artists-in-residence programme will continue in 2004 within the dialogue with Eastern, Middle and Southeastern Europe in collaboration with KulturKontakt Austria. The residencies 2002 went to Mihai Mihalcea, Romania (April/May 2002) and Manuel Pelmus, Romania (Sept/Oct 2002); in spring 2003 Andrei Andrianov from Moscow worked in our house; starting with September 15, Márta Ladjánszki Budapest based, we be resident artist at TQW. In November 2003 international jury will meet again to view all applications. The two residencies per year of a duration of each two months in spring (april/May) and autumn (September/October, can be later) shall open a multilayered exchange among international artists and create complex working conditions. Brief outline: - participation at the daily training/workshop programme - with international artists and highly qualified teachers - on specific contemporary approaches - visit of all performances at Tanzquartier Wien, of open laboratories, lectures and discussions - research and development of own artistic work: a studio is at the disposal of the resident artist (professional equipment) - option to present own work in the studio to the audience - (after previous negociation) Use of all research and working facilities at the Centre for Theory and Information library, mediatheque, video editing, internet. During the residence choreographers/performers Vienna based will be invited to discuss the artistic approaches following specific interests and the field of work of the resident artist. Future option among all possible collaborations: Continuation of the artistic exchange with colleagues from Austria within the Carte Blanche-Programme: a one-week professional exchange, studio disposal, accomodation/travel/per diem covered.
